I looked at buying this when it came out. I atill think its too clunky and not fast enough setup dismantle for quick sessions. I got the 7ft spornia, up n seconds and down as quickly. Good honest review though. I believe the perfect golf net is still to be designed.

I bought one and it changed how I play golf. It's worth every penny and doesn't matter about the name brand. You don't need any extra features. It's worth just buying the bundle. Price in converting comes out to about the same.

I have this on pre-order with a side net and now I have serious doubts. I like the ease of setting it up an down and thankfully I don't shank the ball often but that is not to say that it won't happen. The other Forb net you reviewed would a pain to put up and down all the time. Hmm going to have to rethink this one, I need to find something that will protect my neighbours house 😂

Maybe an issue outside, but never had a problem with this in my basement. Great net! Love it!

It’s a good review as always, I had the V1 Alphard with a Rovic RV1C, and I would not recommend that combo. The V2 and with a swivel wheel trolley looks better, I recall all the attention mine got! Until I had enough after half a dozen rounds and moved it on!

Some great points and defo need to think this through more. I've got loads of houses round me.

I've managed to hit over my net and stopped using it in my garden

I've used this watch for 15+ rounds now and generally like it a lot. This review is spot on, but I found that editing the round using the app is far more difficult than doing it on a PC. I forget to record the number of putts a LOT and recording the pin locations post-round does not give enough precision to actually give me good putting data. So, I switched off the 'record putts' feature. For the money this is a fabulous way to see your dispersion and distances, but understand you will have to do post-round editing every time.

Did you try the image recording with andriod too? I'm concerned the video quality is the standard apple media downgrade when the other device isn't using ios.

Shot scope has really pissed me off to the point that I am just going to return the whole system and will look at the other companies for something similar. My watch wouldn't sync with my phone after my round. i know the information is in my watch but the sync wouldn't work. only freeze the system. when I tried to contact shot scope support for help they wanted me to pay for the help. F THEM. This is a shitty way to do business and I can't say enough negative things about this whole experience. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Trolley looks cheap so makes it quite expensive! and too big when collapsed.

I’ve had the V2 for 3 years. Best money that I have spent on golf. The trolley issue is a non issue. The unit does everything that a golfer needs from a motorized golf cart. I had a Clicgear golf cart, unit worked great. I replaced it with a Rovic golf cart this year. Love my setup

To really enjoy home tee hero courses and driving range, the R10 needs to show accurate carry distances for long irons, hybrids, fairway woods and driver. My normally 260-265 driver distance will show merely 210-215 yds. I'm hitting the RCT balls into my backyard 10' x 10' x10'00H caged net. I'm set up 4' ' back from cage opening. Even when I artificially set the elevation to 10,000 ft, the distances are still way off. I'm at 1280-ft natural elevation. I should not have to trick the unit to get real life distances. R10 software is updated. What can I do to get accurate data ? Try dissalointinh?

I have purchased a number of Druids products and agree with your observations on value and sizing. Beware the trousers. After one wear they end up baggy and misshapen at the knees. You should also do a review of their shoes. At first glance the shoes look to be fantastic value. However not so. I bought four pairs and everyone of those "waterproof" shoes leaked on first wear. Not only that the soles started to come apart from the uppers. A total con. I complained to Druids and got absolutely nowhere. In conclusion, you get what you pay for. In terms of quality, Druids clothing leaves a lot to be desired, in terms of styling it passes muster, however fit is a big issue, which no-one at Druids seems bothered enough in the slightest to address. Strange if you ask me.....

I just bought one as at that price it seemed a steal however first impression is the watch is a bit cheap but the worst thing is the screen. For me it's so dull and hard to read and not ideal for some one who needs glasses close up.

I'll toss some of my Data Science background in here and say that if I can collect enough data between the R10 and an accurate system, I can average out the variance for each club and apply that number to the output displayed for a more accurate reading.

Bought mine on eBay for £137. The score card feature is something that just takes up space on screen a can not be removed. Not interested in other features like heart rate monitor. Does not require paid subscription like Sky Caddie so happy. It does what is expected from GPS golf watch.
